Coding Club
Institute of Electricals and Electronics Engineers Student Branch (IEEE-SB) was established in IIST in the year 2011. It is a student-run organization of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), motivated to create a unique learning environment enriched by the challenges of the growing trends in engineering technology. In order to gather new knowledge and experiences from the technology and science leaders, IEEE units at IIST regularly conduct high-impact technical events to address membership’s needs and enable networking with national and international experts.
JeevYantra: Robotics Club
JeevYantra, the Robotics Club at IIST, is a community of students passionate about exploring the vast possibilities of robotics technology. Our goal is to foster a culture of innovation and technical mastery through hands-on learning experiences and collaborative projects. We provide diverse activities and projects, from workshops to collaborative endeavours, offering ample opportunities for skill development and personal growth. Experienced members are committed to guiding newcomers to unlock their full potential in the field of robotics.
Shutter Space: Photography Club
The Photography Club, ShutterSpace, at our college, is driven by the profound motto: “Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them.” – Elliot Erwitt.
