Registration Closed.
Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “Registrar, IIST, Thiruvananthapuram” payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Scanned copy of the DD is required for completing the online registration process. PG students and Research Scholars should upload the scanned copies of the previous academic records/ mark sheets (starting from Bachelors degree) as a single PDF file for online registration. On reception of selection confirmation email from the course organizers (on or before 05th May 2016), the participants may send DD to reach us on or before 15th May 2016. Boarding and lodging facilities will be provided to the participants on request. The expenses for the same must be borne by the participants (Approximate cost of Boarding /Lodging is Rs.200/day). The number of participants is restricted to 40.
The course fee per participants
- Rs. 4000 for PG students and research scholars
- Rs. 5000 for faculties from academic institutes and engineers/scientists from industries

- Shortlisted registrants will be informed : on or before 5th May, 2016.
- Last date for receiving DD :15th May 2016
How To Reach IIST
- The campus is located at Valiamala, 18 kms from Thiruvananthapuram city, on the way to the famous hill resort of Ponmudi and is very well connected to Bangalore, Mumbai & Chennai by bus, train & air. The nearest airport is Trivandrum International airport-30 kms and the nearest railway station is Trivandrum Central (26kms). There are frequent buses from Thiruvanathapuram Central bus stand to Vithura or Ponmudi (Get down at ISRO Jn).
Target Audience
- The course is addressed to participants who have undergone at least one UG level course on control systems and/or have experience working in the field of control systems.
Selection Procedure
- Selection of PG and Research scholars will be based on their academic credentials.
- Selection of faculties and Scientists/Engineers will be based on first-come-first-serve policy.
- Selected candidates will be intimated through email only.
