Automatic Control Systems and Design with Matlab/Simulink

a
Organising Institution

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (Deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956) envisions the integration of Space Technology and Space Science educational programs with basic and applied research for meeting the national R&D requirements of science and technology in general and of the Indian Space Programme in particular. IIST functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Space, Government of India. The institute provides a vibrant research atmosphere and offers B. Tech, M. Tech, Doctoral and postdoctoral programmes in the areas Avionics, Aerospace and Physical Science. The Institute has the unique mandate of encouraging and equipping brilliant youngsters from all parts of the country to take up a career as Scientist/Engineer in Indian Space Research Organization and other industries. Course Objectives

Control Systems is an indispensable part of any system and its design. It is common to different disciplines of engineering like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering etc.The main objective of this course is to educate the participants and enhance their skills in Automatic Control Systems, its analysis in time and frequency and control design . All the classes would be strongly supplemented by hands-on lab sessions using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Further some applications and case studies would be touched upon. This Course would help the participants in applying their knowledge to the areas of modeling, simulation, analysis and design of controllers.
