The lab's primary objectives are to understand and characterize the mechanical properties of polymers and composite materials, develop and optimize polymer processing techniques, and create new and innovative polymer materials. Major facilities include Universal Testing Machine, Microcompounder with injection moulding, Rheometer, Impact Tester, Internal Mixer with Twin Screw Extruder.
