Understanding the impact of spaceflight on biology is crucial for safe and effective crewed space explorations for which research in Space Biology is of utmost importance. In our laboratories, we focus on three verticals - (1) study the impact of microgravity environment on biological phenomena (2) develop spaceflight hardware to conduct life science experiments and (3) materials and systems for bio regenerative life support. The research facilities include microgravity and hyper gravity simulators, 3D printers, RH & temperature controlled incubator, stereo and polarised optical microscopes.
