(d) Manufacturing Technology and PhD in specialized areas of Aerospace engineering. Our students have access to state of the art academic and research labs in the above areas. The department aslo maintains active collaboration with ISRO centres which provides the students unique access to ISRO facilities and the opportunity to work on cutting edge research problems from the Aerospace industry. Our students also contribute significantly to various small satellite and payload development activities undertaken at the Institute level. The institute has established MoU’s with several prestigious universities abroad, under which meritorious students get the opportunity to undertake their summer internship and project work. The undergraduate program academic topper is awarded the Satish Dhawan fellowship which enables the student to pursue MS in Space Engineering from Graduate Aerospace Laboratories at Caltech , USA.
